It is with mixed emotions that I announce Dr. Kelley Parato, our Director of Scientific Affairs, has accepted a new position at the National Research Council. Kelley will be the Director of the NRC’s Health Challenge Program. Kelley has been with BioCanRx since the beginning and we are grateful for her years of expertise and commitment to the network. We wish her great success in her new role!
I am very pleased to welcome Dr. Jennifer Quizi as BioCanRx’s new Director of Scientific Affairs. Most recently, Jennifer was the Senior Clinical Research Program Manager for the laboratory of Dr. John Bell at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. In this role she was key in driving translational research initiatives. Previously Jennifer worked in industry as a Clinical Research Scientist for a pre-clinical SME in the cancer space. She was also Operations Manager at the Biotherapeutics Manufacturing Centre. Jennifer holds a PhD in cellular and molecular medicine from the University of Ottawa.
