BioCanRx is pleased to be named an I.D.E.A.L. Bioscience Employer™ for 2023-2024 by BioTalent Canada.
The I.D.E.A.L. Bioscience Employer Recognition Program recognizes health and biosciences organizations that embody the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility leadership as best practices needed to advance innovations and promote the Canadian bio-economy as a global leader.
Now in its second year, the program saw an increase in applications from Canadian organizations, both large and small. After a careful evaluation by BioTalent Canada, 15 recipients were selected to receive the I.D.E.A.L. Bioscience Employer designation, including BioCanRx.
“This is a great honour and speaks to the importance we place on diversity, equity and inclusion in all we do,” said Dr. Stéphanie Michaud, President and Chief Executive Officer of BioCanRx. “We are thrilled to receive this important recognition from BioTalent Canada.”
To qualify as an I.D.E.A.L. Bioscience Employer, BioCanRx needed to pass a rigorous set of criteria used to evaluate the submissions including their alignment of IDEA principles to their vision, values, strategies, and outcomes; leadership accountability for IDEA; and the priority the organization places on IDEA learning and awareness, among others.
