Hands-on research and policy experience for Indigenous students

Internship Details

The BioCanRx Indigenous Student Summer Internship Program provides Indigenous undergraduate students with meaningful opportunities to gain experience in cancer research or policy projects across Canada.

Project eligibility extends beyond BioCanRx’s mandate of cancer immunotherapy and biotherapeutics to include any cancer-related research or policy-related work, including that with an Indigenous-oriented framework, such as Indigenous traditional knowledge.

About the Program

Developed through a partnership with Indspire and supported with funding from the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and the Canadian Cancer society, the BioCanRx Indigenous Student Summer Internship Program provides Indigenous undergraduate students with meaningful opportunities to gain experience in any cancer-related research or policy-related work, including that with an Indigenous-oriented framework, such as Indigenous traditional knowledge.
