Sebastien is a purpose-driven, bilingual Life Sciences and Corporate Affairs Executive with cross-disciplinary expertise spanning the entire healthcare value chain, from the biopharmaceuticals, Medtech, and Diagnostics sectors.
Since 2020, Sebastien has served as Vice-President, Government Relations and Corporate Development at Dynacare. Over the years, he has developed recognized expertise in corporate strategy, governance, and business transformation through various strategic roles in sales, marketing, market access, government affairs, strategic procurement, and health policy.
Through his tenure in various Fortune 500 companies, he developed a proven track record in corporate development through M&A initiatives and in working with policymakers to introduce policies and measures in support of innovative health technologies adoption.
Sebastien is a guest lecturer for the HBA/MBA program at the Ivey Business School at Western University and the McGill University Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship. He serves as an independent director with Genome Quebec and HealthPRO, and as the Vice-Chair of the board of directors with the Bioscience Association of Manitoba. He also serves as a strategic advisor for HealthTech startups, including Galenvs Biosciences and Foldink. He was a select member of the 2015 edition of the prestigious Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, acting as co-chair.
Sebastien holds a baccalaureate degree in Science (B.Sc.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal, an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université Paris-Dauphine, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) specialized in Innovation and Technology from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He completed the Rotman School of Management Directors Education Program to subsequently receive the designation of Corporate Director (ICD.D).
