Brigette Kocijancic

Brigette is an award-winning global communication and change management consultant with over 20 years of experience providing strategic programs for some of Canada’s largest and most recognized brands. She works with global clients to build business capability and ignite meaningful stakeholder connections with an organization’s vision, strategy, and purpose.
As a certified PROSCI change practitioner and IABC internationally Accredited Business Communicator, Brigette has developed impactful change management and communications programs and counseled senior executives and leaders at public and private sector organizations across the Americas, UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.

In her corporate roles, Brigette has built and transformed corporate affairs functions into high-performing global teams focused on aligning strategy with corporate goals and objectives at major Canadian financial institutions, including CIBC, RBC, Scotiabank, and the Canadian Bankers Association.

She has been recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) with OVATION Awards in Issues/Crisis Management and Employee/HR Communications.

Brigette has served on the IABC/Toronto Chapter Board of Directors in 2010, 2008, and 2007 as VP, Accreditation and Professional Standards, and VP, Membership. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for BioCanRx and Speed Skating Canada and is a member of the HR and Nominations Committees.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Degree Certificate in Practical Ethics from York University, as well as Post-Diploma Certificates in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Sheridan College and Metropolitan Toronto University, respectively.
