Alberta Cell Therapy Manufacturing

Alberta Cell Therapy Manufacturing (ACTM) is a Western Canadian Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) located at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. We provide process development, assay development and GMP manufacturing services for researchers and companies developing cell-based therapies for clinical trials. Our 10,000 sq. ft. facility was purpose built for GMP manufacturing is divided into 6 Grade B cleanroom suites with Grade A biological safety cabinets for aseptic processing. Our validated cleanroom suites are designed to accommodate a wide range of projects; adherent or suspension cells, allogenic or autologous, and cell banking services. Cell culture and expansion can be performed in systems ranging from small scale cell culture flasks to cell culture bags, bioreactors and automated cell culture systems such as the CliniMACS Prodigy.
